Everything you need to know about MaintControl
Licensing is provided as an independent software license based on the desired number of systems/machine parts to be linked and displayed in the monitoring. The more equipment you monitor, the more comprehensive your license. With a valid maintenance contract for MaintMan, you receive a permanent 25% price advantage on the MaintControl license fee.
Users are created and managed in MaintMan as usual. You decide for each user which functions of MaintControl they may use. After logging in, users only see the functions that have been released for them.
This provides granular access control - you determine who can view status, who can report faults, who can create service requests, and who has full administrative access.
Yes! You can upload existing plant/hall plans or draw the complete plant structure yourself using the built-in editor. Any number of hierarchical nodes can be created, and each can have its own diagram. Position equipment shapes freely, adjust transparency, and link them to your MaintMan systems or machine parts.
The service request function enables employees to submit all maintenance, building technology requirements, and general inquiries as tickets. Incoming messages are viewed and processed in a separate area in MaintMan.
Service requests don't require mandatory system assignment - you can record general messages that can be assigned later. Cross-client service requests are also supported, allowing reports to other company locations or production facilities.
Machine and equipment failures are reported immediately via the fault function. Click on the equipment on your visual display, describe the issue, and create an immediate work order. The recorded orders appear in MaintMan as open faults in the list of due orders and can be processed directly by your maintenance team.
Absolutely! MaintControl supports both touch and mouse operation, making it perfect for wall-mounted displays in production control rooms. The interface is optimized for touch interaction with appropriately sized controls and clear visual feedback.
Yes, you can choose colors yourself and adjust transparency. The standard setting uses green for systems without orders, yellow for planned maintenance/repairs, orange for faults, and red for standstill/failure. You can modify these to match your corporate colors or visibility requirements.
Yes, MaintControl is available in multiple languages to support global operations. The interface adapts to your users' language preferences, making it suitable for international facilities and multi-national teams.
